Frequently asked questions

What is the fastest way to get booked in? Filling in the enquiry form on this website on 'enquire here' page gives me plenty of detail to get me up to speed on your case and to know if/how I can help. Ill get back to you ASAP, usually asking a few quick health intake questions, answering any questions you have, and then booking in a treatment when you'd like OR Some people may want to discuss things in more detail, in which case messaging on WhatsApp, calling or texting me 07437670076 is best
Not sure which treatment is best for your case ? Every patient is different. Before any treatment, I will usually ask potential new clients a few quick intake questions to get an idea of the most effective and safest treatment ( or combinations). Then we can discuss and decide how to best go forward together
When not in pain, how often should I have treatment? Every case is different! For those without pain, usually every 1-2 months is optimal for function and pain prevention, especially for high performance athletes or people with physical and/or mentally stressful jobs
Will I be sore after treatments? In my experience it's quite 50/50 whether patients experience post treatment soreness There is a possibility that after chiropractic and sports massage treatments (particularly if you're already in severe pain) you may feel sore while your body gets used to the corrections, changes and the controlled (healthy) stresses placed on it during treatment. Similar to post exercise/gym soreness, sometimes your joints and muscles may need 1-3 days to recover before settling to a healed state. You can always ask if any questions after a treatment.
Do you travel to patients or do patients travel to you? I can potentially do either, but am primarily mobile, with a limited supply of treatments at my premises
How do you accept payment ? Either cash or bank transfer is accepted, whichever is best for you.
When in pain, how many sessions will I need? This can differ person to person, even if they have the same type of issue. Humans are a diverse species and that includes body types, our lifestyles, age, jobs (everyday stresses), amount of muscle mass etc. which can all affect the rate of healing in our bodies But the majority of cases I see will usually experience significant relief or maybe even a complete improvement of their condition in 2-4 sessions. Having more than one session in a week can fast track progress. Ideally it's usually safe to have at least one session a week until you're better. At the least I wouldn't leave more than 2 weeks between sessions Often I find the better your general health is, the faster you're likely to heal too.
What should i wear for treatments? Most importantly please wear something you're comfortable in! But in general I'd recommend wearing lighter, stretchy, sporty type clothing if possible. This can allow me to more easily diagnose what's going on, assess range of motion, and even make some chiropractic adjustments easier too. For sports massage and reflexology , I can often get deeper into the necessary spots if I can access the skin/ muscle directly e.g. Wearing shorts if you need sports massage to your legs, wearing a sports top/ bra, or using a towel to cover during a back sports massage, removing socks for reflexology etc. However I can adapt and do massage through heavier items of clothing if needed. You feeling comfortable and confident during treatment is a priority.
